Implementation of AI in Poland growing in information and communication sector
According to Credit Agricole Bank Polska, the highest adoption of AI among Polish companies with 10+ employees is in the "Information and Communication" sector, where 32.6% use at least one AI technology. The "Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities" sector follows at 14.5%. In contrast, Poland’s overall AI adoption rate remains low at 5.9%, far behind the EU average of 13.5% in 2024.
Other industries, such as energy (8.4%), wholesale and retail trade (5.5%), and construction (2%), show much lower AI integration. Pharmaceutical manufacturing saw a decline in AI adoption from 12.2% (2023) to 9.7% (2024), while most EU countries experienced growth. Poland continues to lag behind the EU in AI adoption, with the gap widening year over year.
