Legimi enables customers to purchase paper books
E-books and e-readers seller Legimi has enabled customers who are regular users of the site and at the same time members of the Bookworm Club to buy paper books with discounts of up to 50%, the company said.
“Over one million registered users have passed through our platform for the last decade. We have noticed that some of them treated Legimi as a stop on their reading path. Every fourth reader used our application to view an interesting book or meet the author before buying a printed edition. We haven't had a solution for such clients so far, so I think that not only readers but also publishers will gain satisfaction from extending Legimi's offer with paper editions,” president Mikołaj Małaczyński, said.
By the end of the week, the catalog will have approximately 100,000 items, among them many titles not published at all in the form of e-books.
