Poland's Świnoujście LNG terminal has received its fifth LNG shipment in March, with three more expected. If weather conditions remain favorable, the month could match January’s record of eight LNG deliveries.

The latest cargo, transported by the Clean Cajun, a 300-meter-long vessel built in 2022, originated from the U.S., which supplied 14 out of 17 shipments this year, with the remaining three from Qatar. Increased LNG imports are driven by higher national gas demand and expanded regasification capacity since January.

The Świnoujście terminal, managed by Gaz-System, is one of the busiest in the EU, handling 8.3 billion cubic meters annually, covering 40% of Poland’s gas needs, alongside the Baltic Pipe.
