Over 78 percent of Poles are in favor of abandoning daylight saving time switch. The majority wants summer time to be valid throughout the year, Centre for Public Opinion Research revealed in its survey for the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology (MPIT).
This week the European Parliament backed up a proposal to stop the biannual daylight saving from 2021. The Member States would be able to choose either permanent summer time or winter time. There were 410 votes in favor, and 192 against.
