Poland's upcoming housing program, succeeding the "Safe 2% Loan," is set to launch in the second half of 2024, potentially aiding around 50,000 people this year, according to Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman. The program offers interest rate subsidies for loans taken until the end of 2025, with allocated funds of PLN 500 million in the 2024 budget. The subsidy, lasting 10 years, varies based on household size, reducing interest rates from 1.5% for singles to 0% for households with five or more members. Income thresholds, subject to modification, are determined by household size.
