Percentage of companies planning to automate has fallen to 51%

According to Personnel Service's “Barometer of the Polish Labour Market,” 51% of companies plan to implement automation in 2025, down slightly from 55% the year before. Currently, 30% are investing in AI tools such as data analysis, chatbots, and predictive systems, while 29% focus on automating processes like invoicing or document flow. Industrial robots and cobots are planned by 18% of firms, yet 33% do not intend to adopt any such technologies, and 11% remain undecided.
High costs and lack of specialists are key barriers. Meanwhile, 45% of employees aim to improve their skills (down 10 pp year-over-year), mostly to boost market value, effectiveness, or career growth. The study surveyed 1,100 workers and 329 companies in January 2025.
