PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) has established a Wide Area Network (WAN) linking over 1800 locations throughout Poland to enhance data transmission security. Initiated in early 2022, the project aims to modernize and ensure continuous data transmission services for the infrastructure manager's operational needs from 2023 to 2027.

This modern and secure network is crucial for PKP PLK's digital transformation, ensuring the continuity of teleinformatics services and the security of railway operations, thereby holding strategic importance for the country. Netia, selected through a rigorous tender process, provides the IP VPN (MPLS) network, crucial for maintaining performance and data security within this critical infrastructure.
