Poland and Ukraine have signed a memorandum for cooperation in digital technologies and innovation. The agreement, signed by Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski and Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, focuses on the IT industry, artificial intelligence, e-administration, and the development of applications like Poland's mObywatel and Ukraine's Diia.
Gawkowski stated that Poland will continue to cover terminal fees to keep Ukrainian infrastructure operational during the war. Fedorov emphasized Poland's critical role in Ukraine's digital landscape, mentioning that over 20,000 Starlink terminals have been supplied to enhance communication.
During his visit to Kiev, Gawkowski also discussed Poland's involvement in the Tallinn Mechanism to support Ukraine's cybersecurity needs and visited Unit City, a technology and startup hub.
