Poland is the EU leader in the export of lithium-ion batteries, was noticed in the analysis published in the Financial Observer by Wojciech Mroczek, an economic expert in the Department of Statistics of the NBP. One company is mainly responsible for Poland's result. Several companies in Poland manufacture lithium-ion batteries, but only LG Chem has a plant for the production of high-performance battery cells for the automotive industry
Already in April, Polish exports overtook German and amounted to €161 million against €120 million. The difference is very significant, and our exports are also growing at a much faster pace than German ones.
