Poland's exports exceed imports

The Central Statistical Office (GUS) provided the latest data on foreign trade. According to GUS, the value of exports from Poland amounted to €235.8 billion and exceeded the total value of imports from abroad by €1.8 billion.
Germany remains Poland's main trading partner. Last year, goods from Poland worth €65.1 billion went there. In turn, goods worth €50.9 billion came to Poland from Germany.
Germany's share in exports decreased by 0.6 pp to 27.6 percent, and in imports by 0.8 pp up to 21.8 percent.
The Czech Republic came second in the countries with the most exports from Poland. Goods worth €14.4 billion, or 6.1 percent in total, went to Poland’s southern neighbor. Great Britain came third with Poland's largest purchases of €14.1 billion and a share of 6.0 percent. For both countries, exports increased by 1.3 pp.
