Putin and Lukashenko Condemn NATO and EU Policies

Following their Kremlin meeting, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko issued a joint statement, calling NATO’s actions amid the Ukrainian crisis “hostile and destabilizing,” warning they could escalate into a nuclear conflict. The leaders reaffirmed Russia and Belarus’s readiness to take military and diplomatic measures in response to the Alliance’s policies.
The statement also denounced the European Union’s “aggressive and confrontational” stance, accusing it of interfering in their internal affairs and imposing unilateral sanctions. According to Putin and Lukashenko, such actions harm global development and are unacceptable.
Additionally, both countries pledged to strengthen cooperation within integration frameworks, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), aiming to deepen ties and enhance collaboration within these organizations.
