In October, retail sales in Poland increased by 2.1% compared to the same month last year, following a 0.6% decline in September, as reported by Eurostat. On a monthly basis, there was a 1.5% growth in sales. The annual data has been adjusted for the number of working days, and the monthly figures are seasonally adjusted.
Eurostat's data covers even the smallest businesses, employing fewer than 10 workers, including small family-owned shops, but excludes car sales.
