As many as 59.9 percent of Poles responsible for daily household shopping are worried that store prices will continue to rise soon. Conversely, 28.7 percent believe prices will stabilize, while 11.4 percent are undecided.
The fear of price hikes is most prevalent among those over 65 and 45–54 years old, particularly those earning below the national average and living in cities with 100,000 to 199,000 residents, as well as in rural areas and small towns. In contrast, younger consumers aged 25-34 and 18-24, typically residing in larger cities and earning above the national average, generally do not anticipate further price increases.
