Savings bonds break 10-year high in June

The finance ministry said on Tuesday in a statement that in June savings bonds with a record total value of PLN 1.57 billion were sold. 10-month bonus bonds had the largest share in June’s sales.
“Poles are more and more willing to choose treasury savings bonds as a safe form of locating and multiplying their savings ... The structure of the bonus bond, which in addition to guaranteed interest gives the chance to win high bonuses, attracted the attention of savers," Deputy Minister Piotr Nowak, said.
