A report by Teach for Poland reveals that Polish schools are not adequately preparing students for adulthood, with a primary focus on grades rather than future competencies and creativity. The report, “I Can Do Everything: What Modern Students Think,” shows that 40 percent of students equate mistakes with a lack of intelligence, leading to a fear of asking questions.
"In 10–20 years, we risk becoming a society afraid of innovation and change. Mistakes are crucial for creativity and growth," Katarzyna Nabrdalik, President of Teach for Poland, stated.
The current educational system emphasizes achieving grades over skill development, which could hinder students' long-term success and adaptability.
