YSM removes 4 Polish companies from the list with the lowest grade

On Thursday (March 31), Yale School of Management published the first Polish edition of the now-famous list, pointing out corporations' cooperation with Russia. Its authors write in the information on the website that since the publication of the first list a few days after Russia's attack on Ukraine, more than 500 companies have withdrawn from operating in the Russian market.
The list of Polish companies caused a storm. As many as 6 out of 10 Polish companies that were rated the worst by the authors of the Yale list, denied cooperation with the Russian market. On the night of April 2, the Yale School of Management updated its list and removed four companies from it.
On March 22, the Yale School of Management published a collective list of 500 concerns from around the world, assessing their current involvement in the Russian market (the list is constantly updated). Several Polish entities were already mentioned among them. In addition to other pharmaceutical companies, the Polpharma Group, a company controlled by Jerzy Starak, registered in the Netherlands, was included in the group with an "F" rating, i.e. unsatisfactory.
Polpharma maintains sales of some drugs and exports to Russia, as reported by Magdalena Rzeszotalska from the Polish company Polpharma.
“We believe that every person in need, especially children, the elderly, or chronic illnesses, has the right to access treatment based on race, religion, or nationality. Drug deliveries were not subject to sanctions," she said.
