Over 1,700 e-residents from Poland were established in Estonia by 450 companies

More and more Polish companies are planning to move their business to Estonia. It is a country that is becoming the first choice more and more often due to a transparent tax system or low costs of doing business. Often it is also determined by the potential of this market as a gateway to Scandinavia. Another advantage is the ease of setting up a company in Estonia. The easiest way to transfer your business is to obtain an e-residence. This solution is also eagerly used by Poles who have already established 450 companies in Estonia.
"Polish companies look more and more favorably on the Estonian market as a target market, but also a transit market. The target market is still somewhat undiscovered by us, but it has enormous potential. We are talking here about the sector of, for example, new technologies, infrastructure, construction," Artur Kuczmowski, member of the management board of Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, pointed out.
The trade turnover between Poland and Estonia in 2020 amounted to approx. €1.3 billion. The KUKE and SpotData report indicates that Estonia is one of the countries with the largest increase in the share of Polish exports in the last two decades. However, this share is still small and amounts to approx. 0.5 percent (imports from Estonia account for 0.1 percent of Poland's imports).
