Tauron’s capitalization has increased by 40% y/y to PLN 7.78 in a year

Tauron's market capitalization increased by approximately 40% y/y, reaching PLN 7.78 billion, compared to PLN 5.36 billion the previous year, according to CFO Krzysztof Surma. Over the last 12 months, the company's stock price rose from PLN 3.06 to PLN 4.48 per share.
Sales VP Piotr Gołębiowski highlighted a surge in online customer engagement, with 2 million app users, including 500,000 new users last year. Additionally, 140,000 customers have adopted Tauron Nowa Energia’s 100% renewable energy offer with a fixed price for nine years.
The company's capital expenditures increased by 17%, focusing 90% on distribution and renewable energy. Investment in these areas grew by 14% y/y, driven by cost optimization.
Tauron employs 27% women, with 42.5% in managerial roles and 32.5% in executive and supervisory boards. The company, Poland’s largest energy distributor, generated PLN 42.66 billion in revenue in 2023 and is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (mWIG40 index).
