Polish furniture makers are in debt, with the industry owing €25.3 million. Small businesses are hit hardest, while manufacturers owe the most (€17.8 million). The situation is worsening, with creditworthy companies dropping and financially troubled ones rising.
Banks and other lenders are owed the most (€16.5 million), but furniture companies are owed money by customers too (€4.4 million). This financial strain raises concerns about bankruptcies and job losses in the industry.
