The OECD Consumer Barometer for Poland increased in August to -0.19 points from -0.44 points the previous month, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The OECD Consumer Barometer is a monthly growth indicator of the normalized Consumer Confidence Index (CCI). This index is calculated as the average of four components:

  • Financial situation over the past 12 months,
  • Financial situation over the next 12 months,
  • Overall economic situation over the next 12 months,
  • Major purchases planned over the next 12 months.

This rise indicates a slight improvement in consumer confidence in Poland.
