A Polish team of scientists, defense experts, and tech entrepreneurs is developing TridentAI – a groundbreaking dual-use artificial intelligence system. The solution is designed to support real-time strategic decision-making and coordinate autonomous drone swarms, strengthening the security of critical infrastructure in the face of rising geopolitical threats.

The system enables optimal resource allocation, supports drone operators, and, in emergency scenarios, can fully take over their role. Its applications include protecting critical infrastructure, countering drone-based threats, and enhancing the effectiveness of security services.

The project was initiated by Dr. habil. Tomasz Michalak. Professor at the University of Warsaw, who is a specialist in multi-agent systems and security games, was previously affiliated with Oxford University. He is joined by Dr. Andrzej Nagórko, lecturer at the University of Warsaw, whose research covers both pure mathematics and AI applications. The seed investor is Konrad Howard, co-founder of Booksy, who emphasizes the dual-use nature of the technology – valuable in both civilian and military contexts.

TridentAI is building partnerships in the US, Estonia, and Ukraine. By combining cutting-edge research with entrepreneurial execution, the project has the potential to become a symbol of Polish innovation in the high-tech and security sectors.
