According to Nationale-Nederlanden, almost 40% of Poles believe that after the birth of a child, they will devote less time to their careers. This phenomenon still more often affects mothers (almost 50%) than fathers (nearly 30%).

In 2018, the average woman and man had their first child at the age of 27 and 33 respectively. Late motherhood and fatherhood are often associated with greater awareness among parents. Fathers are more likely to get involved in family life than before.

Over 60% of fathers admit that after the birth of their child, their interests and hobbies are set aside. They also have less time for socializing. Such a change is particularly noticed by people aged between 30 and 39. As many as 80% of fathers declare they would like to devote more time and attention to their children.
