A June 2025 survey by RocketJobs.pl and JustJoin.it shows that 93% of Polish office workers support reduced working hours. The preferred model is a four-day work week (64.3%), followed by shorter workdays (26%) and additional vacation days (9.7%).

Key motivations include more time with family (62.3%), pursuing hobbies (48.3%), and rest (47.4%). Over half of respondents believe such changes would benefit both employees and companies. However, skeptics worry that the same workload would be crammed into fewer hours, reducing efficiency.

Interestingly, 31.9% would use the time to learn or develop professionally, suggesting potential gains in long-term productivity. Meanwhile, 38.4% would consider job-hunting during the extra time off—21.4% seeking better pay, and 16.5% looking for improved conditions.

The study was carried out by ASM Research using the CAWI method on a sample of 801 office workers in major Polish cities.
