The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) signed a cooperation agreement on March 18, 2021. It aims to increase the importance of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe on the global map of modern business services and the development of employees and companies in the sector.
As part of the new project called Skills of the Future Academy 2021-2026, CIMA and ABSL will identify competency gaps in the modern business services sector and will work on implementing world-class solutions that will address them. In the initial phase, the project will consist of identifying current and future competency gaps and then starting work on the use and adaptation of this knowledge for further cooperation.
"As part of deeper cooperation between CIMA and ABSL, we want to propose solutions for the sector that will help its employees develop key competencies for the benefit of themselves, their companies, and in the long term, also the societies and economies of countries in the region," Jakub Bejnarowicz, regional director at Europe, CIMA, said.
"Bearing in mind the new challenges posed by the world after the coronavirus pandemic, we want to work closely together, inter alia, on the Skills of the Future Academy project, which was initiated to support employees of our sector in developing the skills they need in a new reality,” Paweł Panczyj, Managing Director Strategy & Partnerships, ABSL, added.
