Euro Styl from the Dom Development Group starts a new residential investment in Gdańsk
Zajezdnia Motława in Gdańsk. Apartments in the picturesque scenery of the city center, with views of the water and the green, historic bastions
Euro Styl from the Dom Development Group is launching a new residential project – Zajezdnia Motława, located in Dolne Miasto, the historic part of central Gdańsk. The first stage includes two residential-and-service buildings with 113 apartments of various sizes, as well as ground-floor commercial units. The project is being developed next to the historic hall of the former tram depot, right beside the Wyskok and Wilk bastions and the vast green areas surrounding the Motława Oplyw canal. The design has received a positive opinion from the Pomeranian Provincial Conservator of Monuments and the City Architect of Gdańsk. Apartment handover is scheduled for the second quarter of 2028.
A place you want to live in

The proximity of the green bastions, the remnants of the former city fortifications, and the picturesque, peaceful Motława Oplyw canal give the Zajezdnia Motława development its unique character. The historical context of the district is emphasized by the old townhouses and cobblestone streets. The new, elegant buildings will blend harmoniously into this setting, combining historic architecture with the natural riverside landscape. It is an exceptional place to live and relax – in the heart of Gdańsk, yet away from everyday noise. The architectural design was created by APA Wojciechowski Architekci.
“Zajezdnia Motława is a truly unique place on the map of Gdańsk. The location offers a connection to the city’s historic district, with views of the Motława Oplyw canal and the green bastions with their recreational and walking areas. In the first stage of the project, 113 apartments ranging from 25 to over 121 sq m, from 1 to 5 rooms, are available for sale. Some of them will offer beautiful views of the water and bastions,” says Anna Tuszyńska, Sales Director at Euro Styl.
A key element of the project is the historic tram depot hall, which will be revitalized in the second stage. In front of it, near Radna Street, a new public square will be created – a space referencing the site’s history. The concept includes preserving the old tram tracks in the pavement and adding small architectural elements. Green platforms imitating tram bases will serve as seating, and a distinctive lighting arrangement will be installed using lamps suspended on a grid between traction poles. Cozy, landscaped courtyards will be located between the buildings.
Zajezdnia Motława – key features
Architectural context
The proposed development is a contemporary interpretation of the historical layout of Dolne Miasto. The building forms will align with the traditional frontage system of the quarter, while the façades will be finished with natural brick laid in varied patterns and textured plaster in warm beige tones. Attention will be drawn to thoughtful details individually selected for each parcel – rustication, brick shapes, slats, inter-story bands with varied brick bonding, cornices, bay windows, lintels, and window trim. Balconies, loggias, and terraces will come in a variety of finishes suited to the color scheme of each façade section.
“The architects carried out an in-depth analysis of the historical building frontages in the immediate surroundings of the project. They examined neighboring façades, analyzing their details, window rhythms, cornices, colors, and claddings. They then translated this review of architectural solutions into a contemporary design that reflects the historical context using modern architectural methods,” says Aleksandra Nowakowska, Head of Product Design at Euro Styl.
Inspiring interiors
The interiors draw inspiration from the entrance halls of Dolne Miasto townhouses. In the elegant lobbies, high-quality finishing materials will create a timeless backdrop for carefully selected details. A harmonious color palette of beige, wood, and warm white, paired with soft LED lighting, will add elegance. The spacious corridors will feature graphics referencing the history of Dolne Miasto. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered – from wall textures and elegant moldings to mirrors, balustrade elements, and amber-toned designer lighting.
A short walk to shops and the city center

Dolne Miasto is a perfect example of a 15-minute-city concept. Nearby, residents have shops, a school, a kindergarten, a clinic, and a pharmacy. There are also charming cafés and restaurants. Within walking distance of Zajezdnia Motława are numerous attractions of the Main and Old Town, including St. Mary’s Basilica, Neptune’s Fountain on Długi Targ, the Baltic Philharmonic, and the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre. Nearby bus and tram stops provide easy access to other parts of Gdańsk, and new bike paths allow convenient cycling around the district.
The green side of central Gdańsk

Located along the Motława Oplyw, Dolne Miasto is one of the greenest parts of Gdańsk. The former city fortifications (covering over 12 hectares) with access to the water are filled with natural vegetation. It is an area ideal for leisure, walking, and sports.
As part of its Public–Private Partnership with the City of Gdańsk, Euro Styl is revitalizing more than 5.5 hectares of land around the Wilk and Wyskok bastions and along the banks of the New Motława. Some work has already been completed – an attractive boulevard with a pedestrian-bicycle path, landscaped greenery, water access points, and viewing terraces has been created. The new recreational spaces and well-organized greenery make the district even more friendly and charming.
Zajezdnia Motława has been designed in line with sustainable urban development priorities, aiming to minimize environmental impact and enhance residents’ quality of life. The project meets the requirements of the Green Investment Card, the internal standard of the Dom Development Group, as reflected in the carefully selected materials and energy-efficient solutions.
