EY: only 18% of Polish enterprises do not invest in AI

Only 18% of Polish companies have not invested in artificial intelligence (AI), making Poland the most AI-open market in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, where 43% of firms avoid AI, according to EY’s Entrepreneurship Barometer 2025. Over half of Polish businesses invested up to $100,000 in AI, primarily for data analysis (44%), marketing, and online sales (63%). Nearly half expect significant productivity gains. Key challenges include privacy risks (41%), lack of clear regulations (37%), and high financing costs.
Despite regional economic uncertainty, Poland showed more stability (46% vs. 58%). EY experts highlight the need for legal frameworks like the AI Act and internal data protection policies to ensure responsible AI adoption.
