GUS: number of foreign workers reaches 1.021 million
The number of foreigners working in Poland at the end of April 2024 was 1,021,000, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
At the end of March 2024, this number was 1,011,600.
Out of this total, 390,100 were foreigners engaged in civil law contracts.
According to GUS, at the end of April 2024, the share of foreigners in the total workforce in Poland was 6.7%.
The largest group of foreigners working in Poland were Ukrainian citizens, numbering 692,800 at the end of April 2024.
