Key priority for EEC funds in Poland is military, energy and infrastructure

Poland’s key investment priority in the coming years will be national security—military, energy, and infrastructure-related—according to Deputy Minister Konrad Wojnarowski. At an EEC Members event, he emphasized that security must guide investment policy, with funding from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) and a new Security and Defense Fund, which will allocate PLN 25 billion.
This fund will support defense industry modernization, strategic infrastructure (e.g., roads and shelters), and innovative technologies. The eastern border is seen as a critical point for national and NATO defense. A new national development strategy is also underway, aimed at addressing the diverse needs of cities, towns, and rural areas, with PLN 100 billion from KPO already in use.
