Marek Falenta blackmails to reveal secret PiS recordings

Coal mining businessman Marek Falenta, sentenced to two and a half years in prison without parole for ordering unauthorized surveillance of politicians in the now infamous 2014 taping scandal, claims to be in possession of a recording, also made in 2014, where PiS head Jarosław Kaczyński comments on the infamous tapes, daily “Gazeta Wyborcza” revealed. This would implicate PiS head as being aware of the existence of the surveillance tapes years before they were revealed. Falenta approached PiS on several occasions asking for a presidential pardon, to no avail. According to the daily, Marek Falenta was to record Kaczyński at PiS headquarters, shortly after the original tapes were recorded.
