The net profit of the ports of Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Szczecin-Świnoujście increased by 17%, 23%, and 25% y/y, respectively, during the first three quarters of this year, reported Infrastructure Deputy Minister Arkadiusz Marchewka.
"I received data for the first three quarters of this year, and the results are very good. Comparing y/y, the net profit increased by PLN 30.25 million (+17%) in the Port of Gdańsk, PLN 20.43 million (+23%) in the Port of Gdynia, and PLN 22.37 million (+25%) in the Port of Szczecin-Świnoujście," Marchewka stated on his profile on X.
He described the data as "really good."
"As for the cargo handling, excluding coal, which the previous authorities imported in excessive quantities, the results are also positive. Polish ports, in total, recorded a slight increase in cargo handling," the deputy minister added.
