Niedzielski: free medication program may be available from this September
The program of free medicines for children and adolescents up to the age of 18 and persons over 65 yeqrs old may be available from September, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski announced. The free medicqtion are to be included in the health minister's list.
"The first projections talked about 2024, but we are preparing legislative solutions that will still be adopted in June, and then we will actually decide that this program might be available starting in September," Niedzielski told RMF FM.
He clarified that the law would presumably specify the age groups to which the free medications would apply, and the Health Minister would decide which specific medications would be included in the list.
The introduction of free medicines for children and adolescents up to the age of 18 and elderly over 65 years was announced in mid-May.
