OLX Group doesn’t intend to withdraw from Russia

Hundreds of job advertisements for the Russian army can be found on Avito.ru. This one is related to the OLX Group, also present in Poland. The company does not want to leave Russia.
The OLX Group itself is part of the Dutch company Prosus (this, in turn, is controlled by the South African fund Naspers). The head of this company, Bob Van Dijk, informed investors a week ago that his companies will not leave Russia. His words are quoted by the Sunday Times website from South Africa.
OLX owns Avito.ru – the largest classified website in Russia. Its annual revenues are estimated at up to $300 million, i.e. over PLN 1 billion. Some of them come directly from the regime of Vladimir Putin. On Avito.ru you could find advertisements about the search for soldiers for the Russian army and local security services. A few hours after the publication of the text by Gazeta.pl, the OLX Group informed the editors that the recruitment advertisements for the Russian army had been removed from the Avito.ru website. Since access from Poland is disabled, we are not able to verify this information.
