Orlen and consortium obtains EU grant for hydrogen projects worth €9 mln

Orlen, along with a consortium of 17 international partners, has secured nearly €9 million in funding from the EU's Clean Hydrogen Partnership for the HySPARK project, marking the first such grant in Poland. The funds will be used to produce and test hydrogen-powered vehicles at Warsaw's Chopin Airport and within the city's public transportation system.
The project includes collaboration with companies like ARTHUR BUS and Quantron, and aims to develop a hydrogen distribution network in Central Poland. HySPARK is part of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley initiative, which seeks to create a regional hydrogen ecosystem.
