The rate of reinvestment in Poland by foreign investors has increased to 62% in 2021, which is PLN 75.6 billion, according to data from Grant Thornton. A year earlier, the reinvestment rate was 52%.
In 2021, foreign investors generated through companies operating in Poland PLN 122.7 billion in income, which is 46% more than the year before. This is the highest result at least since 2003, since comparable data is available.
“The trend of increasing the reinvestment rate is very clear, especially for several years. In 2013, foreign companies left in Poland only every fourth zloty earned in our country, and transferred the remaining three to the headquarters. Now they keep two-thirds of their income in Poland.
