In May, Poland’s rental market showed signs of revival, with demand rising by 15% m/m—the sharpest increase since the start of the year, according to Otodom. Users sent 322,000 responses to listings, mainly seeking two-room apartments of 30–40 m². Meanwhile, supply remained limited, with 24,000 listings available—down 8% y/y—though slightly up (3%) from April.

The average rental price stayed at PLN 3,500 (PLN 70/m²), with Warsaw remaining the most expensive (PLN 5,000). Olsztyn saw the highest annual price increase at nearly 14%, followed by Bydgoszcz (10%). Experts note growing price tolerance among tenants due to tighter supply and greater competition ahead of the summer season.
