Scanway to supply high-resolution optical telescopes to Southeast Asian company for €9 mln
Scanway has signed a €9 million (approx. PLN 38.4 million) contract with a leading space sector company from South Asia to deliver a series of high-resolution optical telescopes for an Earth observation satellite constellation. The deal, the largest in Scanway’s history, will be fulfilled by 2027, with 25% of revenue expected in 2025, 50% in 2026, and 25% in 2027.
The upfront payment exceeds half of the company’s total 2024 revenue. The first telescope is to be delivered in 2026. Scanway, active in both the space and industrial optics sectors, sees growing opportunities in Asia and aims to expand further. The company went public on NewConnect in 2023.
