Israel–Iran Tensions May Hit Polish Fuel Prices, Warns MEP Kobosko

Polish MEP Michał Kobosko (Polska 2050) warns that the growing conflict between Israel and Iran could have direct economic consequences for Poland and Europe.
“The grim truth is we’ll all pay the price,” he said, pointing to rising oil prices that could soon translate into higher fuel costs at Polish gas stations.
Analysts from Reflex confirm that the current escalation may already be causing small fuel price hikes, with some stations reporting increases of several to over a dozen groszy per liter. A major concern is the potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil transport route, which could severely restrict Middle Eastern oil exports.
Kobosko emphasized that EU member states must invest more in national defense rather than rely on the idea of a unified European army. He also urged Poland to maintain strong ties with both the EU and the U.S. in the face of global instability.
