Ryanair has signed a new six-year agreement with Warsaw-Modlin Airport after a period of reduced operations. The Irish low-cost carrier promises to invest $400 million, triple passenger traffic to 5.2 million by 2030, and launch up to 25 new routes starting next summer.

The airport will expand its terminal and build four new aircraft stands, bringing the total to 12 by 2027. Ryanair also plans to double its local fleet and create 400 jobs. Passenger numbers are expected to rebound to 2.5 million in 2025. Additionally, a direct rail link from Warsaw to the terminal is scheduled for completion between 2028–2029, improving accessibility and supporting the airport’s growth and profitability.
