In April 2025, Polish shopping centers experienced a noticeable rebound, with total turnover rising by 5.6% and foot traffic increasing by 1.9% year-on-year, according to data from the Polish Council of Shopping Centers. The most significant growth occurred in leisure-related sectors: entertainment revenues jumped 30.5%, and restaurants/cafes rose by 10%. Health, beauty, and services also saw solid gains. Smaller shopping centers led the growth with an 8.2% turnover increase.

Consumer optimism is supported by macroeconomic data—retail sales rose 7.6% in April and 4.4% in May. For the first time since 2024, y/y retail prices slightly dropped, encouraging spending. Durable goods, including furniture and electronics, saw sales growth near 19%, confirming a sustained consumer recovery.
