The first tranche of the KPO by the end of March 2024
The first tranche of the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO) should reach Poland by the end of March, at the latest in April 2024, announced Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR), on Friday.
The head of the MFiPR indicated that the European Commission has about 2.5 months to assess the application for the first tranche of the KPO submitted on Friday (December 15, 2022). This means, as she said, that "by the end of March, at the latest in April, the money from the KPO should reach Poland."
She assured that the legislative solutions needed for Brussels to launch both KPO funds and the money granted to Poland from the EU budget for the years 2021-2027 have already been prepared. In total, as she pointed out, this is over PLN 600 billion.
