The Polish government has proposed a 3% increase in the minimum wage and hourly rate starting January 1, 2026, according to the Government Information Centre (CIR). The minimum monthly wage would rise from PLN 4,666 in 2025 to PLN 4,806 gross, while the minimum hourly rate for certain civil contracts would increase to PLN 31.40 gross.

These proposals will be submitted to the Social Dialogue Council for consultation. The government emphasizes that the increases aim to maintain wage growth while balancing economic conditions. The adjustments follow regular annual reviews, ensuring wages reflect inflation and productivity trends while supporting workers’ income stability.
