About 240,000 children and teenagers will go to summer camps and camps this year. However, these will be subject to strict restrictions. Children must be prepared to comply with hygiene rules and additional requirements have been imposed on the organizers. - In turn, parents this year, apart from organization and logistics, should focus more on health issues and think about additional insurance for children - emphasize representatives of ERGO Hestia. It will be useful, e.g. in the event of a sudden illness or accident.
This year, holiday trips will be subject to strict restrictions. At the end of May, the Ministry of National Education in cooperation with the Chief Sanitary Inspector and the Ministry of Health published guidelines for their organizers and parents who decide to send their children to summer camps or summer camps.
"Disinfectant liquids, limit of people in rooms and strict regulations. Until recently, we would not think that colonies might look like this. Children will have to comply with strict restrictions this summer. Parents must also be prepared. In addition to organization and logistics, it is worth even more than usual to focus on health care," Agnieszka Madziar, an expert in travel insurance at ERGO Hestia, emphasized.
On the day of departure for summer vacation, the child must be healthy. The parent must certify in writing that he did not live with a person in quarantine and had no contact with a person suspected of being infected with coronavirus 14 days before departure, nor did he reveal any signs of an infectious disease (e.g. cough, fever, runny nose or shortness of breath). If they occur during a camp or colony, the parent is obliged to collect them within a maximum of 12 hours.
Children who go on a summer vacation, in turn, must be prepared for the need to comply with increased hygiene rules, maintaining a two-meter distance, as well as equipped with face masks. If the parents did not provide children with means for personal protection and disinfection, the organizer of the trip is obliged to do so. It must also equip all employees and educators.
