Unemployment rate in Poland was 3.2% in December
Seasonally adjusted unemployment in Poland stood at 3.2% in December 2025, unchanged from the previous month, according to Eurostat. This was the second-lowest rate in the European Union, after Czechia at 3.1%. The number of unemployed people in Poland remained stable at 576,000. Across the euro area, the unemployment rate also held steady at 6.2%, slightly below market expectations of 6.3%, while the EU-wide rate was unchanged at 5.9%.
Eurostat defines harmonized unemployment as the share of people aged 15–74 who are without work, available to start within two weeks and actively seeking employment, relative to the total labour force.
