Owners of more than 500 small stores want the Sunday trade ban to be lifted. They have sent a petition to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, which calls for the abolition of the ban and the introduction of amendments to the Labor Code that would guarantee two free Sundays a month to each employee, the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP) has revealed. The authors of the petition argue that the law introducing the ban was adopted hastily and that the effects of the regulation were not assessed in a proper way.
