Baltona, an operator of duty-free stores located at airports and border crossings, has opened its 14th and final store at Warsaw Chopin Airport thus completing a project which it launched in May last year. The company’s stores are located in both of the airport’s terminals and cover a total of almost 3,000 sqm, which accounts for 46 percent of the aggregate retail space available in the location. They include four duty-free stores, three boutiques and seven convenience stores. In Poland, Baltona has airport stores in such cities as Katowice, Rzeszów, Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Poznań and Modlin. The operator is also present in Estonia, Romania, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Ukraine.
