Dutch company Krudo looking for buyers of Polish pipe production plants

Dutch company Krudo Industries is seeking buyers for two closed pipe manufacturing plants, Walcownia Rur Andrzej and Rurexpol, previously owned by Alchemia. Both plants are being sold as fully operational facilities.
Krudo, specializing in industrial asset sales, signed agreements to oversee the sale of both plants. Alchemia decided in 2023 to exit the pipe sector, shutting down Walcownia Rur Andrzej in Zawadzkie and Rurexpol in Częstochowa by early 2025.
Rurexpol, with 120,000 sqm of space and railway infrastructure, exported 60% of its production. Walcownia Rur Andrzej was certified for energy and construction industries. Alchemia’s parent company, Boryszew, is restructuring, cutting less profitable segments amid European steel industry struggles.
