On Thursday, a contract was signed for a major renovation of the Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. The total cost of investments related to the reconstruction of the facility amounts to PLN 25 million. PLN 14 million of the budget comes from EU funds.
The project includes the reconstruction of the main facade of the building, the entrance, and the surroundings, the modernization of stages and auditorium (including ventilation and air conditioning installations), as well as sound and lighting systems. After the renovation, part of the building will be adapted for the needs of the Cultural Education Center in the theater.
