Mark Zuckerberg's fortune, increased by $12.5 billion on Thursday, the largest single-day increase in his wealth. The businessman vowed that 2023 will be a "year of performance" for the owner of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, a company called Meta Platforms.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the value of Mark Zuckerberg's assets is now $69.8 billion, making him the 13th wealthiest person in the world. In one day, he surpassed more than a dozen billionaires on the list. Among that group was Gautam Adani.

The Indian industrialist, until recently Asia's richest man, lost his crown in just a few days. The tycoon lost $58 billion from his personal fortune in just six trading days in a manner so spectacular that it almost eludes all historical comparison.
