Between 2013 and 2024, Poland earned €27.7 billion (PLN 117.86 billion) from 798.8 million allowances, with a weighted average price of €34.72.
CO2 prices in 2024 dropped 8.16%, closing the year at €71, compared to €83.85 in 2023. Market demand was moderate, with a cover ratio of 1.66. The year saw fluctuations influenced by gas prices, industrial demand, and European policy changes, reflecting broader trends in energy markets and emissions trading.
