A majority (86%) of Polish companies operating abroad plan further expansion, with 47% targeting new markets and 43% focusing on regions where they are already active, according to an EY study. The labor market is a key factor in their expansion plans, with 84% of companies considering it in decision-making. High employee competence in Poland (58%) and access to international talent through remote work (52%) were cited as major advantages.
Managerial skills (51%) and knowledge of specific business fields (46%) were highlighted as critical for successful foreign growth. Companies primarily invest in employee training (47%) and IT infrastructure (43%), with larger firms relying more on existing resources than smaller ones.
